Onymyrrhe is an oil, and another one of those treatments recommended for helping improve, strengthen and lengthen your nails.
Does it work? It may work for you, it may not.
Many have tried using this nail treatment without success, and some people have noticed an improvement in nail strength.
It is often recommended for people who play guitar, as a way of keeping the nails strong, whilst one is strumming on the strings.
Onymyrrhe has been around for thousands of years, helping people with many ailments other than been recommended as a nail growth treatment.
It is used for treating minor skin problems, wounds, and cuts, helping to speed up healing. Which I think it is best used for, and not on your nails.
This oil may help increase circulation, strengthen a weakened immune system, soften dry skin, prevent premature aging, and help ease toenail and fingernail fungus. Although I make no medical claims here.
You can find it in many products such as; mouthwash, cosmetics, soaps, toothpaste and body products.
And where does this amazing onymyrrhe oil come from? It’s sourced from the wonderful myrrh plant.
Using this oil for nails will take around four to six months before you will notice a difference if you notice a difference, some have noticed a change in the first month of using it.
But does the change to your nails last?
You may notice improved strength for a short time, and then your nails could very well end up looking and feeling like they were before you used the oil.
Using Oil For Nails
Onymyrrhe is an oil, and using oil on your fingernail is a great way to help keep them hydrated, and pliable. You may even get to grow beautiful long fingernails, you certainly won’t grow nails fast.
If you don’t play guitar, then I’d say you probably have a better chance of your nails looking and feeling better. As you are not constantly strumming your nails on something, and wearing them down.
It is a good nail strengthener treatment for people who have had artificial fingernails. As it may help your natural fingernails repair and strengthen.
Over time, fake nails may damage your fingernail, and use of oil on nails will definitely help, keep the natural nail hydrated.
How To Use Onymyrrhe For Nails
Apply once a day to the fingernail, concentrating on the base of your nail where the matrix is.
Some people combine using onymyrrhe with taking a biotin supplement. This may help you overcome nail problems such as broken and splitting nails. And once again, it may not.
I took a biotin supplement for over a year, and there was no transformation to my nails, nothing, zippo. Don’t be fooled by this supplement, it may do wonders for you but not your nails.
Grow Nails Fast
It is often touted for increasing fingernail growth at a faster rate, and you will find it advertised as a ‘natural nail growth accelerator’.
This is debatable considering your fingernails growth is dependent on your age (the older you are the slower your nail growth).
Seasons play a part, how healthy you are and hereditary factors make a difference to the growth of your nails.
Compared to many other treatments for nails, this natural oil is very affordable and of course, natural is better.
Check out your local nail salon, you may find it being sold there.
I did have a couple of online sites you could buy it from, unfortunately, the manufacturer of this particular nail product is no longer supplying it.
I would like to add, putting all your faith in a bottle of oil to help with your nails growth causes not only an expectation. You may find because of the expectation you are bitterly disappointed.
Your nails may grow nails fast and thicker using this nail treatment, however using this oil you may experience no difference at all to your nails.
Everyone is different and not everything works for everyone. Try it for a few months and if there is no noticeable difference to your nails, stop and try something else.
I did try onymyrrhe natural oil many years ago, and it did not work for me. If you didn’t come into this world with beautiful, strong nails, unfortunately, it can sometimes be a long road to try to get them.
I have a friend who drinks alcohol like a fish, smokes cigarettes and doesn’t have the healthiest of diets, yet her fingernails are amazing.
She hates them of course and keeps them short. They are so strong and she could grow them really long if she wanted to.
Me, however, have a very healthy diet, don’t smoke, only drink occasionally. I have struggled continually with trying to keep my fingernails at a reasonable length without breaking.
The one thing I have found which has helped enormously with my nail strength is MSM and vitamin C, taken two to three times a day. This is the only thing that works for me, and I have tried everything!
Another healthy supplement, you can try is Kelp. It is wonderful for helping strengthen nails and hair.
Other nail products are nail aid this is formaldehyde free, so is Delore and Sante these two also use an organic hardener.
Whatever nail treatment you buy for helping with nail strength, be mindful there is an 80% chance it won’t work.
Natural nail care is very important for your overall health, and using products which are natural like onymyrrhe is always the best way to go for your nail health.
